Qualifications and Experience:
- Active certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students, particularly 2nd and 3rd grades
- Familiarity with push-in and pull-out instructional models
- Strong classroom management and organization skills
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to partner well with general education teachers and support staff
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized education to students in 2nd and 3rd grade through both push-in and pull-out settings
- Develop and implement IEPs, track student progress, and provide necessary accommodations and modifications
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student growth
- Facilitate a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets diverse student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting per school and state guidelines
