Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with elementary-level students with diverse abilities
  • Strong ability to adapt instruction for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service professionals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Maintain all required reports and documentation per district and state requirements
