Special Ed Teacher | Chandler, Arizona

This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of students requiring specialized education support. The position is available immediately and will continue through the remainder of the school year. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 35-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored special education services in language arts, math, and behavioral support within small groups and inclusive general education settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student goals and legal requirements
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to ensure cohesive instruction and support
• Maintain consistent communication with students’ families to promote engagement and progress
• Utilize resources and guidance from multiple resource teachers to enhance instructional strategies and program development

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification or licensure
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in both small group and general education environments
• Strong understanding of IEP development, special education laws, and behavior support strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering student success and well-being
