Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate required
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proximity within a 30-minute commute of Fairfax, Central, or Hayden campuses
• E.E.E.I. training (or willingness to participate in staff development)
• Deep understanding of IEPs, transition planning, and data-driven instructional strategies
• Experience supporting diverse student populations, including those with prosocial/self-regulation challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT (life skills/functional academics), and STRIVE (autism/self-contained behavior) classrooms
• Create and track individualized education plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to promote student growth
• Address social, emotional, and regulatory needs through evidence-based interventions
• Participate in district onboarding (CIE July 21-24) and the academic year through May 2027
