What we’re looking for:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education Teacher credentials
• Demonstrated experience with IEP development and implementation
• Comfort teaching across K-12 grade levels in self-contained or resource classrooms
• Strong work ethic, with a willingness to collaborate and innovate
• Positive attitude and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt strategies to best support student growth and success

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Teach and support students in academic, social, and life skills appropriate to their developmental levels
• Communicate regularly with families, staff, and service providers to monitor progress and adjust strategies
• Maintain accurate records, track student achievement, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
