Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience with self-contained classroom instruction strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
• Adaptability, patience, and a creative problem-solving approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in self-contained classroom settings
• Assess students’ needs and monitor academic and behavioral progress
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals collaboratively
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education staff, support staff, and administration
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
