Empower young learners by shaping their educational journeys as an Elementary Special Education Teacher/Case Manager in a supportive school setting. This contract position involves working with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade who have mild to moderate interrelated or resource needs. With a caseload of 17–20 students, you will play a vital role in both instruction and case management, ensuring that each student receives individualized support to thrive academically and socially.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification (valid in the state as required)
- Experience delivering instruction to elementary-aged students with special needs
- Familiarity with managing IEP caseloads and maintaining compliance with regulations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation and deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers
- Comfort with both direct instruction and coordinating support or accommodations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs in resource/interrelated settings
- Serve as a case manager, developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Regularly track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs
- Work Monday through Friday, roughly 7:45 AM–3:25 PM, with occasional meetings or training as required
