The assignment starts in August 2026 and runs through late May 2027, with Monday through Friday hours and specific school assignments and caseloads to be determined.
Candidates with active South Carolina Special Education Teacher licensure are highly encouraged to apply. Preference is given to educators with Multi-Categorical Licensure and those experienced in managing classroom behaviors or supporting students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher license in South Carolina required
- Multi-Categorical Licensure preferred
- Proven experience working with students displaying behavioral challenges and/or ASD highly valued
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and dedicated to promoting a supportive learning environment
- Minimum of 0-2 years of school-based experience (but all levels are welcome to apply)

- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse abilities
- Collaborate with families, specialists, and staff to support holistic student development
- Track progress, collect data, and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements
