Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with South Carolina Department of Education guidelines and federal special education regulations, ensuring students receive appropriate academic and behavioral support.
- Provide differentiated instruction and evidence-based interventions to meet the unique learning, social, emotional, and developmental needs of students with diverse disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and other exceptionalities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student achievement, facilitate inclusion opportunities, and promote positive educational outcomes.
- Maintain accurate student records, collect and analyze progress-monitoring data, and participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure compliance and continuous student growth.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools preferred.
Education:
- South Carolina Department of Education Special Education License required
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
