Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Previous experience working with students who have a range of learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs in multiple environments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Capable of managing a flexible schedule and traveling between sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction in accordance with students’ IEPs across several school settings
• Conduct assessments, develop learning plans, and monitor progress for each student
• Collaborate regularly with general education staff, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive learning atmosphere
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to special education
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of each student’s educational progress
