Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure applicable to middle school level
• Experience or a keen interest in working with Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) caseloads
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support for middle school students with EBD
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and other team members regarding student progress
• Employ proactive strategies and interventions to address behavioral and academic needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
