Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License required
• Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification needed for EC PCD Teacher role (ages 3-4)
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for K-3rd and high school self-contained classes
• Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities (mild/moderate) is highly preferred
• Strong communication, flexibility, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instructional activities to meet the individual IEP goals of your students
• Foster a supportive classroom environment and encourage student engagement
• Develop, modify, and implement lesson plans aligned with both school and state requirements
• Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
