This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a supportive school environment, serving students across a variety of grade levels and special education needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Teaching License required
  • Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification needed
  • Multi-Categorical endorsement required
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher (PCD, Multi-Categorical, Emotional Disabilities, Early Childhood)
  • Ability to serve students in self-contained and resource settings, K-8
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students in Multi-Categorical Self-Contained settings (K-2)
  • Provide resource instruction for students in Early Childhood and Elementary/Middle School environments (K-8)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student success
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services
  • Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment focused on student achievement
