Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Teaching License required
- Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification needed for EC PCD Teacher role (ages 3-4)
- SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for K-3rd and high school self-contained classes
- Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities (mild/moderate) is highly preferred
- Strong communication, flexibility, and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instructional activities to meet the individual IEP goals of your students
- Foster a supportive classroom environment and encourage student engagement
- Develop, modify, and implement lesson plans aligned with both school and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional learning opportunities
