Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/license
• Previous experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs, especially at the elementary level
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff
• Adaptability in both resource and extended instructional settings
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies
• Advocate for each student while nurturing academic growth, independence, and social-emotional well-being
