Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher – Cherokee, NC

Soliant is seeking two Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based positions in Cherokee, North Carolina.

Position Details:

Full-time, Monday–Friday
7:30 AM–3:00 PM
35 hours per week
Self-contained K–3 classroom
Current caseload of approximately 4–5 students, with enrollment potentially increasing to 7–8 students per classroom
Paraprofessional support available in the classroom

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with students with Autism
Strong behavior management skills
Comfortable supporting students with toileting and diapering needs when necessary
Familiarity with Infinite Campus preferred

Licensure:

Active or eligible North Carolina Special Education teaching license
Adaptive Curriculum licensure preferred, but other Special Education licensure areas may be considered
