Requirements:
- Active North Carolina Special Education Teacher license required
- Experience with autism and behavior management strongly preferred
- Comfort with toileting and diapering duties as needed
- Ability to adapt and support students with complex needs
Responsibilities:
- Manage a K-3 self-contained special education classroom (currently 4–5 students, with enrollment up to 7–8)
- Design and implement individualized education plans
- Collaborate with staff and families for student success
- Create a supportive, structured classroom environment
- Ensure student safety and care, including assistance with personal needs
