Soliant is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support high school students on a dedicated caseload. This onsite role requires a skilled educator who can deliver standards-based instruction, manage classroom and behavioral needs effectively, and thrive in an urban school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide special education services to a high school caseload

Demonstrate strong knowledge of subject matter, instructional strategies, and special education resources

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards

Use formative assessment and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs
-
Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a structured, supportive learning environment

Track student progress and maintain accurate special education documentation
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administration
-
Participate in IEP meetings and compliance-related activities
Requirements:
-
Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification or licensure required

Bachelor’s degree required (to qualify for an emergency teaching permit, if applicable)

Prior school-based experience required

Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
-
Experience working in an urban educational setting preferred

Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
