Pennsylvania High School Special Education Teacher for Learning Support Classroom

Soliant is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a high school caseload in an onsite setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced school-based educator with strong instructional and classroom management skills who can effectively support students in a fast-paced, urban school environment.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: June 12, 2026

• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

• Setting: Onsite

Primary Duties:

• Manage and instruct a high school special education caseload

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using effective teaching strategies and appropriate instructional materials

• Design and implement lesson plans driven by formative assessments and differentiated instruction

• Support student academic and behavioral needs within the classroom

• Maintain a structured, well-managed learning environment

• Complete required documentation and participate in IEP development and meetings

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification or licensure required

• Bachelor’s degree required (eligible for emergency teaching permit if applicable)

• Prior experience in a school setting required

• Strong classroom and behavior management skills essential

• Experience working in an urban school environment preferred

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
