Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification/licensure for assigned caseload
  • Bachelor’s degree required; eligibility for emergency teaching permit
  • Previous school-based experience, preferably in an urban setting
  • Mastery of subject matter and strong instructional skills
  • Proven classroom and behavioral management expertise
  • Comfortable adapting to district and building-level expectations
  • Must complete all Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation necessary
  • Available for onsite work, 35 hours per week, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • Strong record of punctuality and reliability
  • Willing to participate in a Zoom interview
