Two opportunities are available for skilled Special Education Teachers who are passionate about supporting learners of all abilities. Both roles are for the 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to develop strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues in a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific requirements apply)
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring
- Ability to maintain organized records and detailed documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and changing instructional demands
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction to students with varying special needs within a split AM/PM caseload (12-24 students)
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans tailored to individual student IEP goals
- Integrate prescribed curriculum and document instructional progress three times per year
- Create, update, and manage IEPs; schedule and conduct meetings with IEP teams
- Report regularly on each student's goal progression
- Collaborate with fellow educators during PLC meetings and participate in ongoing professional development as required by the district and program
- Carry out additional assigned duties contributing to student growth and program success
Both positions are full time (8:15 AM-3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break) and run from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (end date may adjust depending on weather-related closures).
