A local school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional for a full-time contract role, working with a focused caseload of K-2nd grade students. This new opening involves managing a caseload of just 5-7 students, allowing for personalized instruction and the ability to develop strong connections with each child. You'll collaborate closely with other educators, families, and support staff to ensure all students’ needs are met, and growth is encouraged at every step.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-2nd grade students
• Knowledge of IEP development, goal writing, and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to student needs and modify curriculum as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and adapt curriculum for a small group of students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages student growth
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for success
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
