This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with elementary, middle, or high school students in both inclusion and self-contained settings focused on behavior and life skills.
Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:25am to 4:00pm, aligning with the academic calendar from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027. This is a rewarding role for educators who are passionate about fostering growth and empowering students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid certification in Special Education
- Experience teaching in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong classroom management skills and experience supporting diverse learners, including those with behavioral or life skill needs
- Proven ability to provide instruction in both inclusion and self-contained classrooms
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with families, staff, and administration
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and dedication to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to facilitate student integration and progress
- Track and report on student growth, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Support the creation of positive, structured environments promoting academic and social development
