Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic Early Childhood Center serving Pre K through 5th grade. Starting immediately and extending through May 28, 2027, you'll work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, with a schedule designed to promote work-life balance. This role offers the chance to support students at a critical stage in their learning journey, helping set the groundwork for lifelong success.

What we’re seeking:

  • Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
  • Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Confidence collaborating with related service providers to support student needs
  • Two years of recent teaching experience preferred, but a passion for inclusive education is essential
  • Comfortable working in an Early Childhood Center setting with students from Pre K through 5th grade

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Designing and adapting lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and supporting families in the IEP process
  • Creating a positive, safe, and supportive classroom community
