Special Education Teacher in Chicago, IL

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to work with PreK-5th grade students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is located in Chicago, IL, and runs through the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs in PreK-5th grade
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and staff

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Special Education License
• LBS1 license required
• Experience working with diverse learners in a special education setting preferred
