An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Bilingual Special Education Teacher who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support junior high students in an engaging and collaborative learning environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering instruction in both English and Spanish to a diverse classroom of up to 20 students
  • Planning and implementing tailored learning plans to meet each student's individual educational and behavioral needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and progress reports
  • Adapting teaching strategies to promote academic achievement and personal development for junior high learners
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development as required

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at or above the junior high level (6th-12th grades)
  • Proven background in special education and bilingual (English & Spanish) instruction
  • Strong commitment to student-centered teaching, prioritizing each child’s unique strengths and needs over rigid curricular demands
  • Consistent work history reflecting dedication to education and a long-term career mindset
  • Effective communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
