Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Endorsement or strong background in Science instruction
• Previous classroom experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction for a variety of learning styles

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in accordance with IEPs and curriculum standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Assess student growth regularly and adjust instruction to meet unique academic and behavioral goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
• Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and communications as required
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and school events as needed
