Desired Qualifications:
- Active Special Education certification required; Birth–21 certification preferred, but all Special Education certifications considered
- Experience in similar roles—Case Manager, IEP Coordinator, ARD Facilitator, or other Special Education support positions
- Familiarity with Embrace and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) IEP systems strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator, adept at bridging families and educational teams
- Ability to manage deadlines, coordinate multiple priorities, and maintain thorough documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings for students receiving special education services
- Serve as primary coordinator of communication among families, school staff, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate, compliant IEP documentation within established timelines
- Oversee student records and ensure adherence with all special education processes
- Collaborate with district staff to uphold compliance with state and federal requirements
- Utilize district-specific IEP platforms to systematically manage documentation and workflow
- Support case management functions to ensure exceptional support and execution of procedures
