Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential required
- Prior experience in an elementary special education environment preferred
- Knowledge of cross-categorical service delivery and IEP development
- Strong skills in providing behavioral, communication, sensory, and adaptive supports
- Commitment to fostering inclusion, engagement, and skill-building in a supportive classroom environment
- Excellent organizational and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction for third-grade students with diverse needs
- Implement visual supports, sensory strategies, and structured teaching techniques
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress toward IEP goals
- Partner with program aides, 1:1 support staff, and related service providers to maximize student growth
