As a vital part of the educational team, you’ll deliver specialized instruction, intervention, and accommodations—empowering students to thrive within the general education setting. You will collaborate with educators and families to develop strategies for academic skill growth, support executive functioning, and help students achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The role combines both push-in and pull-out support models, ensuring students receive tailored guidance throughout the instructional day.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Experience or proficiency in delivering resource support to elementary age students (K-5).
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and accommodations in a general education setting.
  • Collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills to maintain records and track student progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement specialized instructional sessions to support grade-level curriculum access.
  • Provide targeted academic support and develop executive functioning skills.
  • Deliver individualized and small group instruction through push-in and pull-out models.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student needs are met consistently.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
