Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 endorsement (required).
• Ability to develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Strong collaboration skills to team with related services staff.
• At least 2 years of recent teaching experience preferred, particularly in special education settings.
• Commitment to fostering an environment where all students can thrive.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of middle school students, delivering instruction in individual and small group resource and pull-out settings.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing targeted interventions and supports.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and adapt educational plans as needed based on student progress and team recommendations.
