This full-time position runs from ASAP through October 31, 2026, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 7:40 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. While this role does not offer remote or hybrid options, alternative schedules may be considered to accommodate your needs.

This position focuses on a manageable caseload of three kindergarten and two first-grade students in a self-contained instructional setting (not a multi-needs classroom). You’ll benefit from robust team support and abundant resources to help each student achieve their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • State certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly kindergarten and first grade
  • Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instruction as needed
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student growth and progress
  • Collaborate with fellow special education teachers, paraeducators, and support staff
  • Use available instructional materials and classroom resources effectively
  • Create a nurturing, structured classroom that empowers students to thrive

Support Network & Resources:

  • Work alongside 2 instructional-level and 3 resource-level special education teaching partners
  • Collaborate with 3 multi-needs special education partners and paraeducator support
  • Easily access instructional materials and resources
