These contract to hire roles run through June 18, 2027, offering exceptional educators a long-term impact and career growth.

Current Openings:

• K-12 Self-Contained Autism Classroom
• Elementary Therapeutic Day School (supporting students with significant social/emotional needs)
• High School Therapeutic Day School (supporting students with significant social/emotional needs)

These positions allow you to work with small groups of students, using creative instructional strategies and therapeutic approaches to foster academic and personal development. Collaboration with support staff, therapists, and families will be key to each student's success. Pay for these opportunities ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement K-22
• Open to those currently in the licensing process or holding out-of-state credentials
• Experience in self-contained or therapeutic settings preferred
• Ability to adapt lessons to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to nurturing students’ skills and potential
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver tailored instruction to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
