You’ll have the chance to work closely with a manageable K-4th grade caseload of six students in a blend of push-in and self-contained settings, supported by an engaged staff. Qualifications:

  • Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
  • At least 2 years of recent teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to write and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Skilled communicator and collaborative team member

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support K-4th grade special education students
  • Develop, write, and implement IEPs
  • Collaborate with related service staff and general education teachers
  • Utilize a mix of push-in and self-contained instructional strategies
  • Maintain a Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm schedule, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
