This full-time high school position offers flexibility: whether you prefer co-teaching or having your own self-contained classroom, your preferences can be accommodated. You'll work Monday through Friday, with built-in lunch and planning periods, for a total of 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. You’ll provide specialized support to students (grades 9-12) with mild to moderate learning disabilities or ASD, managing a caseload projected between 20–30 that may decrease as the year progresses.

Requirements:

• LBS1 certification for grades 9-12 (required)
• Experience or comfort working in high school settings
• Strong knowledge of writing and managing IEPs (mandatory)
• Flexibility for co-teaching or self-contained environments
• Preferred: Bilingual skills and prior high school experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction based on IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Case-manage students, ensuring ongoing communication and compliance with all special education documentation
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed
