Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an inclusion setting at a friendly, collaborative elementary school community. This full-time assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with possible additional days for pre- or post-planning. You’ll collaborate with two dedicated teams and provide specialized instruction for a caseload of approximately 8-9 students.

Ideal Profile:

  • Holds an active GaPSC Teaching Educator Certificate with the Special Education General Curriculum endorsement
  • Experienced in special education, particularly within inclusion settings
  • Skilled at developing and adapting individualized instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Prepared to thoughtfully support students’ academic and social-emotional development
  • Available for full-time (37.5 hrs/week) contracted hours throughout the academic year, with flexibility around planning days

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instructional support to students with disabilities in an inclusion classroom
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and special education teams to plan and implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and accommodations
  • Participate in ongoing parent communications, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive
