What You’ll Need:
- Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Credential
- P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement required
- Experience or genuine interest in working with early elementary students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, individualized instruction to elementary students in a resource or inclusion setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet students’ academic and social needs
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and district procedures
- Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere where every child can succeed
