The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and care to a manageable caseload of no more than 10 students, primarily in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, with the possibility of a single upper-grade instructional segment.

What You’ll Need:

  • Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Credential
  • P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement required
  • Experience or genuine interest in working with early elementary students with diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, individualized instruction to elementary students in a resource or inclusion setting
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet students’ academic and social needs
  • Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and district procedures
  • Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere where every child can succeed
