Desired Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with both Special and General Education Endorsements for Pre-K age groups
• Experience supporting preschool-aged children with varying verbal abilities, including non-verbal students
• Skill in implementing behavior management techniques and adaptive communication methods
• Comfortable assisting with daily living skills, including toilet training/diapering and feeding
• Strong teamwork abilities and collaborative spirit within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Provide targeted instruction addressing cognitive, social, and behavioral goals in the Pre-K setting

• Utilize a variety of communication supports, such as visual aids, technology, or alternative methods
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic student growth
