A Special Education teaching position is open for a compassionate educator with experience in developmental and behavioral support for children aged 3-5. This role is full-time, spanning from now through May 21, 2027, and is based in a dynamic Pre-K program.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with endorsements in both Special and General Education for Pre-K age groups
• Prior experience working with young children exhibiting a range of needs, especially those who are non-verbal or minimally verbal
• Familiarity with developmental milestones, including toilet training/diapering and assisted feeding
• Strong collaborative skills to work alongside school teams and families
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions to preschool children in the Special Education program
• Implement and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist students with daily living skills, including toileting and feeding, as needed
• Support social and language development, adapting strategies for non-verbal communication
• Partner with other educators and therapists to ensure comprehensive care for each student
• Foster a positive environment that celebrates each child’s unique progress
