This opportunity is seeking two Special Education Teachers to provide essential support to students in a school setting located in Chino Valley, AZ. These contract positions are full-time, approximately 35–40 hours per week, with part-time candidates also considered for on-site services. Services will be provided starting January 5 through the end of the school year, potentially concluding by May 22.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in both resource and self-contained classroom environments.
  • Manage caseloads including:
    • One position with 27 students in grades 4th–8th identified with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Other Health Impairments (OHI) in a resource setting
    • One position with 7 students in grades 4th–6th identified with SLD, OHI, and Autism in a self-contained classroom
  • Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress notes.
  • Implement classroom behavior management strategies to create a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers on-site and communicate with additional support personnel via Zoom.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid special education teaching certification.
  • Experience working with students with a range of disabilities including SLD, OHI, and Autism.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed IEP documentation.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently on-site with remote support available.
