Your impact will be felt across various age groups and disabilities, including opportunities to engage with learners with learning, emotional, or autism spectrum needs. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • LBS1 Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for grades K-22 is required
  • Demonstrated experience writing IEP goals
  • Prior service as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
  • Comfortable supporting students with learning, emotional, and/or autism-related disabilities
  • Strong understanding of K-12 academic levels and instructional adaptation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Provide differentiated instruction, accommodations, and modifications according to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with other teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all learners
