Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education certification (Birth–21 preferred, but all certifications considered)
- Prior experience as a Case Manager, IEP Coordinator, ARD Facilitator, or similar special education support role
- Familiarity with Embrace and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) IEP systems strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to coordinate meetings, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule and lead IEP meetings, collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as the communication link between staff, families, and external partners involved in the IEP process
- Ensure all IEP documentation is thorough, compliant, and completed within required timelines
- Maintain and organize student records, tracking special education processes and deadlines
- Partner with district staff to uphold state and federal special education standards
- Manage documentation and workflow using district IEP platforms
- Support all aspects of case management to ensure the smooth, compliant execution of special education procedures
