Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Special Education endorsements
- Demonstrated commitment to working with high school–aged students with diverse learning needs
- Experience writing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and participate in IEP meetings
- Genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal growth of students
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week over a 10-month academic year
- Position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 2027
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 students
- Instruct 3 inclusion classes and 2 resource classes

- Responsible for managing your own caseload, including IEP development, documentation, and compliance
- Work collaboratively with a Special Education Case Manager and support team
