Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs for students with varying disabilities
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and effective behavioral management strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in creating inclusive classroom experiences
- Experience in data-driven instruction a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on student IEPs
- Assess student abilities and progress, documenting and reporting on outcomes
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support professionals to maximize student success
- Provide a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Support classroom management strategies and adapt materials as needed to suit diverse learners
