Weekly Pay
Responsibilities
• Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings, create measurable goals, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Modify lessons to meet diverse learning needs and ensure access to the general education curriculum.
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to promote student success.
• Track student performance, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction based on data.
• Implement behavior plans and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
• Valid Special Education Teaching License in the state of Illinois.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation, including compliance with IDEA requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and support staff.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
