Special Education Teacher - Circle Pines, MN

Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Special Education Resource Teacher supporting students in grades K-5. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with educators and provide individualized learning experiences that help every child thrive.

This position is based at an elementary school and requires an enthusiastic professional who can manage a diverse caseload while working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in special education (PDF documentation required with application)
• Demonstrated success working as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for elementary-age students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resource support and instruction for K-5 students with varying needs
• Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success
• Employ evidence-based interventions and maintain accurate progress records
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities
