The assignment covers the Extended School Year (ESY) program, from July 6 through July 31, with hours Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 12 pm.

In this role, you’ll be part of a specialized summer program dedicated to helping students with varying learning needs maintain essential skills and achieve their individual goals. Caseload details are being finalized, and strong teamwork and flexibility are valued.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Direct experience in K-12 school environments
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction aligned with students’ IEP objectives
• Track and report on student progress, communicating updates to families and staff
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Participate in ongoing planning and review meetings as needed
