Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong behavior management and communication skills
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, adapting materials and teaching strategies as required
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in partnership with staff and families
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment
• Provide guidance and resources to ensure students are progressing academically and socially
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
