Special Education Teacher - Clermont, Florida

In this rewarding opportunity, you’ll serve as an elementary ESE teacher, working in person to support students with special needs as you cover a 12-week leave beginning in August. What we’re seeking:

• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience working with elementary students in a special education setting
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility, compassion, and a collaborative approach to working with staff and families

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing differentiated instruction based on IEP goals and student needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements
• Creating a positive, structured classroom atmosphere
• Adapting lessons and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Participating in relevant meetings and professional development as needed
