Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid special education teaching license (required for all candidates)

• Ability to implement specialized communication methods for non-verbal students
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation training is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction for students in MD and ED classrooms, adapting lesson plans and teaching styles as needed
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and families for holistic student development
• Provide behavior intervention strategies and crisis support as needed
