Special Education Teacher | Cleveland, Ohio

Key Qualifications:

• Ohio Teaching Certification preferred; candidates with special education teaching experience considered, even without full licensure
• Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Experience working with students in a special education setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 39 special education students
• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique learning needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress
• Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
• Support a positive learning environment that fosters growth, independence, and self-advocacy

Schedule Details:

• Breakfast supervision: 7:30–7:55 a.m.
• School day: 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
