What we’re looking for:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students in both middle and high school environments is preferred
• Strong foundation in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Skilled in differentiating instruction and providing behavioral and academic interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach with a genuine commitment to student growth
• Previous experience with orthopedic impairments (OI) is beneficial

What you’ll do:

• Deliver targeted instruction and support to students within special education classrooms
• Split your role between middle school and high school, addressing specific learner needs at each level
• Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to adapt lessons and ensure access to curriculum
• Develop, review, and monitor IEP goals, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
